About this opportunity

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to modify an existing delivery order with General Atomics-Aeronautical Systems, Inc. for the development and integration of enabling capability software and related hardware and software for the MQ-9A MUX MALE UAS program. This modification would provide for the procurement of spare equipment for both the Distributed Aperture Sensor System and new Smart Sensor, to be integrated by GA-ASI as the prime contractor. Responses to the pre-solicitation notice are due by February 23, 2024.

There is no set-aside designated for this potential award. GA-ASI is the incumbent as the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the MQ-9A MUX MALE UAS. As such, NAVAIR intends to solicit and negotiate solely with GA-ASI under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. The award is required by October 2024 to support the continued development and sustainment of the program.
