About this opportunity
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime seeks quotations for a forward bearing journal sleeve casting assembly for the USS Hawaii at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, with quotes due June 1, 2026. This is a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 336612.
Place of performance is Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The primary deliverable (CLIN 0001) is one nickel-molybdenum-cobalt sleeve seal measuring 26.225" OD × 24.155" ID × 78.5" length, conforming to MIL-C-24615A and EB 3163 specifications. The item is classified as Level 1 material for SUBSAFE applications, requiring comprehensive certifications including chemical analysis, mechanical properties testing, dimensional verification, weldability testing, radiographic testing, and production radiography per DI-MISC-81020 and MIL-STD-278E standards. Additional CLINs require Contract Data Requirements List documentation via Wide Area Work Flow including test certifications, radiographic shooting sketches, inspection and test plans, and special emphasis material certifications. Delivery is requested by June 26, 2026.
All quotations must be submitted electronically and priced on a firm fixed-price, FOB Destination basis. Source inspection by DCMA-NSEO is required, with acceptance at destination. The RFQ prohibits suspect K-Monel heats, mandates mercury-free materials, and requires supply chain traceability documentation retained for ten years. Quoters must be registered in SAM, provide CAGE codes and DUNS numbers, and confirm acceptance of Government purchase card and WAWF payment methods.
Evaluation criteria are ranked as: (1) Technical Capability (Acceptable/Unacceptable per specification adherence), (2) Price (lowest priced technically acceptable offeror selected), and (3) Delivery (meeting required delivery date or proposing nearest alternative). Award will be made to a single contractor responsible under FAR 9.1. Offerors must complete and include provisions 52.204-24, 52.204-26, 252.204-7016, and 252.204-7019 with their offers.
