About this opportunity

The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC), under the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command, has issued a Special Notice announcing a site visit opportunity in support of the Long Range Standoff (LRSO) Carriage Equipment production requirement. This site visit is conducted in conjunction with the Final Fair Opportunity Proposal Request (FOPR) that has been released on the Enterprise Wide Agile Acquisition Contract (EWAAC) Portal under solicitation number FA2103-25-R-B001. The site visit will provide interested contractors with the opportunity to examine equipment and facilities relevant to the LRSO Carriage Equipment contract. This Special Notice represents part of the Air Force's acquisition process for a significant defense program related to nuclear weapons systems. The announcement was posted on October 24, 2025, and is directed exclusively at current EWAAC vendors and their subcontractors.

The site visit is scheduled for November 18-21, 2025, at the 409th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona. To participate, interested vendors and subcontractors must submit an RSVP no later than 1200 CDT on November 3, 2025, which allows only thirteen days from the posting date for contractors to prepare and register. Each company or vendor is limited to a maximum of four individuals attending the site visit. Eligibility is restricted to current EWAAC vendors and their approved subcontractors; subcontractors must identify their potential EWAAC Prime contractor sponsors in their attendance requests. Attendees will be permitted to photograph, video record, and take limited measurements of displayed assets, subject to government approval for safety and security compliance. The detailed requirements, registration procedures, and contact information for the three Air Force points of contact are provided in the attachment to the announcement.
