About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical is planning to procure Sertraline Tablets through a national requirements contract. The procurement includes three dosage strengths: 25mg tablets available in 30, 90, 180, and 500 count bottles; 50mg tablets in 30, 90, 100, 180, and 500 count bottles; and 100mg tablets in 30, 60, 90, 100, 180, and 500 count bottles. This will be structured as a firm-fixed price, requirements-type contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, serving as a national supply source for Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Service, and Bureau of Prisons customers through DLA and VA prime vendor programs. The acquisition will be unrestricted and fully competitive, solicited as a commercial item under FAR Part 12, with all sources eligible to submit proposals. The solicitation is projected for release in October 2025, though DLA reserves the right to issue it before or after this timeframe.

This opportunity operates without any set-aside designation, making it available to all qualified contractors regardless of size or socioeconomic status. No current incumbents or contractors are mentioned in the pre-solicitation notice. While specific award values are not disclosed, the contract will include annual usage estimates that will be detailed in the Schedule of Supplies section of the forthcoming solicitation. The procurement spans multiple bottle quantities ranging from small 30-count containers to large 500-count bottles across the three dosage strengths, indicating substantial volume requirements. The five-year total contract period, including the base year and four option years, suggests this represents a significant, long-term pharmaceutical supply arrangement for multiple federal agencies.
