About this opportunity

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) has issued a Justification & Approval (J&A) for an exception to fair opportunity under a multiple-award contract to award a firm-fixed-price task order to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for a Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) Virtual Datacenter Security Stack (VDSS) environment. The SCCA VDSS is designed to protect Department of Defense (DoD) workloads hosted in cloud service providers (CSPs) by placing security devices within the CSP's infrastructure. DISA determined that AWS is the only CSP capable of hosting the required SCCA security devices. The anticipated period of performance is a 1-year base period with three 1-year option periods, to be funded with FY24 Defense Working Capital Funds. The price is deemed fair and reasonable based on comparison to the independent government cost estimate and JWCC catalog pricing.
