About this opportunity
The Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base is conducting market research through a sources sought synopsis, due September 23, 2026, to assess potential contractors for Small Diameter Bomb I (SDB I) aircraft integration, test, and program support plus contractor logistics support throughout production and sustainment phases. No set-aside has been predetermined; the government will use responses to determine whether to pursue a small business set-aside and overall acquisition strategy.
The NAICS code is 332993 (Ammunition except Small Arms Manufacturing) with a 1,500-employee size standard. The government is actively soliciting responses from all small business concerns, including 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned entities. Respondents must indicate their size relative to the standard, socio-economic status, foreign ownership or control, and any use of foreign national employees. Descriptions of similar services delivered to government and commercial customers over the past three years are required. Teaming responses must separately identify work to be performed by the prime and by teaming partners.
The requirement encompasses all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, management, and supervision necessary for SDB I aircraft integration, test, program support, and sustainment across production and sustainment phases.
