Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to seek eligible contractors to perform pier-side intrusive material inspections of CO2 Removal Units, Scrubber No. 1, Scrubber No. 2, and CO H2 removal units, Burner No. 1 and Burner No. 2 for a 688 Class availability, with Submarine Maintenance Monitoring and Support Performance Monitoring Team (SMMS PMT) assistance under the on-site direction of PHNSY.  The primary focus of this task will be thorough intrusive inspection of the scrubbers and burners.  This inspection is the first step in the new Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) driven maintenance philosophy. 


The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611. Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, Rebuilding of Equipment- Ship and Marine Equipment.  Size standard is 1,250.

This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals.  The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
