About this opportunity
The General Services Administration is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice for preventative maintenance and repair services for two Ford Transit 350HR cargo vans owned by the Small Business Administration's Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience. These Mobile Response Vehicles serve critical disaster response operations, with one van stationed at or near the OCPDC in Fort Worth, Texas, and the other at or near the FOCE in Norcross, Georgia. The maintenance program requires comprehensive services including routine oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and unscheduled repairs to maximize vehicle life and ensure operational readiness. Contractors must demonstrate geographical capabilities within 50 miles of each vehicle location, maintenance expertise specific to 2024 Ford Transit 350HR models, qualified technicians, appropriate tools, and valid business certifications. Interested vendors must submit a one-page PDF response by August 29, 2025, at 3:30 PM EST to Joshua Keen, and must be registered in the System for Award Management database.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, exclusively available to SBA-certified small businesses including 8(a), HubZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women Owned Small Business, and general Small Business categories. The agreement includes a multi-year structure with a one-year base period running from August 28, 2025, to August 27, 2026, plus four potential one-year option periods that could extend the contract through August 27, 2030. The contractor must develop a detailed maintenance plan within 15 days of contract award and ensure vehicle availability within 48 hours of service completion.
