The Special Notice published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service intends to issue a noncompetitive purchase order to Assetlink Global LLC for satellite service for 52 GlobalStar animal trap monitors. The monitors are used by the Rhinelander District Wildlife Services to remotely check bear traps where access is difficult.

Responses must be received by 9:00am EST on January 29, 2024 and the determination of whether to compete the proposed contract is at the agency's discretion.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to issue a noncompetitive purchase order to Assetlink Global LLC, 1153 Bergen Pkwy Evergreen, CO 80439-9501. (Unique Entity ID: C1U2Q52NLBG8). This procurement is for Satellite service for GlobalStar Animal Trap Monitors. See attached justification for other than full and open competition.
The Government contemplates the award of a firm fixed-price purchase order. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered by the agency. Please email responses to Cody Grey at cody.grey@usda.gov no later than the time indicated below. Telephonic inquiries will not be honored. Responses must be received no later than 9:00am EST on January 29, 2024. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Respondents should ensure the information provided is detailed, current, accurate, and complete. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 517410 with a small business size standard of $44 Million.
