About this opportunity

The U.S. Embassy in Santiago, Chile is soliciting quotations for new CCTV supply equipment through a Request for Quotations (RFQ) that encompasses 22 line items of electrical and telecommunications equipment. The procurement includes pipes, cabinets, cables, conduits, junction boxes, media converters, ethernet switches, and fiber optic cables needed for closed-circuit television system installations. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission and must provide company details, evidence of an established business, a completed pricing table, delivery timeline, and SAM registration screenshot. The Embassy will award the contract on an "all or none" basis to the company that submits the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quotation, with all prices quoted in Chilean Pesos (CLP). Proposals must be submitted via email in a single Word or PDF file to Santiago-GSOProcurement@state.gov by August 27, 2025, at or before 15:00 hours local time, and quotations must remain valid for 30 days from the closing date.

This solicitation does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the solicitation documentation. While specific award values or budget ranges are not disclosed, the procurement involves 22 distinct line items of specialized CCTV and telecommunications equipment that will be evaluated and awarded as a complete package rather than individual components. The solicitation operates under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, indicating the total value likely falls below the simplified acquisition threshold. Performance will take place in Chile, specifically supporting the U.S. Embassy Santiago's security infrastructure requirements, with delivery timelines to be proposed by offerors as part of their technical submissions.
