About this opportunity
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is conducting market research to identify potential suppliers of cost estimation software and datasets that can directly integrate with IBM's TRIRIGA application. Specifically, the agency is seeking RSMeans cost data or an equivalent solution that meets their technical requirements. The RFI targets the Software Publishers NAICS category (513210) and is open to all sources regardless of size or socioeconomic status. Interested vendors must submit a three-page capabilities statement and complete the attached Market Research Questionnaire by May 21, 2025. Responses should be emailed to the Contracting Officer using the subject line "RFI202505140218 Market Research RFI Response" and will be evaluated based on the vendor's ability to provide a comprehensive cost estimation solution compatible with the specified technical environment.
This market research effort is not a formal solicitation and does not guarantee a contract award, with the anticipated size standard set at $47 million. The FDIC has attached a draft Statement of Objectives and a pricing schedule template for vendors to review and provide feedback. The potential contract appears to span a base year with four optional extension years, covering annual data delivery, per-user licensing, training, and support services. While no specific incumbent is mentioned, the procurement seeks a solution that can be integrated out-of-the-box with existing IBM TRIRIGA infrastructure. Vendors are encouraged to provide detailed information about their capabilities, pricing structures, and potential solutions, with the understanding that the FDIC reserves the right to use the submitted information for creating a future competitive solicitation.
