About this opportunity
The Minnesota Army National Guard is seeking quotes for six 7x16 dual axle enclosed trailers through solicitation W912LM25QA018, issued by the Department of the Army Minnesota Army National Guard. The trailers must meet detailed specifications including charcoal metallic color, 4-inch tube steel frame, tandem 3,500-pound drop spring axles, 7,000-pound gross vehicle weight rating, electric brakes, LED lighting, and various access doors including a spring-assisted rear ramp door. Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov and are encouraged to include past performance information from military, commercial, and civilian sectors, along with country of manufacture and feasible delivery dates. The government will evaluate quotes based on price, technical specifications, and past performance, with all factors weighted equally. Quotes are due by July 29, 2025, with questions submitted within one week of solicitation close answered at the Contracting Office's discretion, and all quotes must remain valid until September 30, 2025.
This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside opportunity with no incumbent contractors identified in the solicitation documents. While specific award values are not disclosed, funding is contingent on proposals being within 15 percent of the Independent Government Estimate, and the project appears on the Army National Guard priority list for funding consideration. The six trailers must be delivered by November 28, 2025, to support the Minnesota Recruiting and Retention Battalion's operations. Performance will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the government intends to award a single contract but reserves the right to consider partial or multiple awards. The solicitation operates under high priority requirement exceptions that allow the contracting process to commence prior to funding availability, reflecting the urgency of this procurement for Army National Guard operations.
