The Department of State is conducting this procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR 13, with the evaluation based on the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach. Vendors may propose the specified brand names or equivalent products, but must demonstrate that their offerings meet the requested specifications. All responsible sources may submit quotations, with vendors required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov). The quotation deadline is September 3, 2025, and the Embassy intends to award based on initial quotes without discussions, though discussions may be held if deemed in the Government's best interest.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it open to all qualified vendors. The solicitation calls for approximately 30 units of most security system components, with some variations in quantity depending on the specific item. Delivery must be completed within 15 business days of contract award, with delivery locations varying based on vendor nationality - Bangladeshi and non-American vendors deliver to the U.S. Embassy Annex in Dhaka, while American vendors deliver to North Brunswick, New Jersey. The contract will be firm-fixed price with payment processed within 30 days after satisfactory inspection and acceptance by the Contracting Officer Representative. The place of performance is designated as Dhaka, Bangladesh, reflecting the Embassy's operational requirements for these security systems.
