About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Space Command seeks procurement and installation of three self-contained relaxation pods for the Guardian Resilience Team at Buckley Space Force Base, with quotes due June 26, 2026 at 9:30 AM Mountain Daylight Time. The procurement is a 100% small business set-aside awarded as a fixed-price contract using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation.
Place of performance is Aurora, Colorado. Offerors must be registered in SAM, meet NAICS code 339920 (Sporting and Athletic Goods Manufacturing) with a size standard of 750 employees, and provide pricing, technical capability demonstration, warranty details, CAGE Code, and UEI number. Delivery and installation must be completed within 60 calendar days of contract award on an FOB Destination basis.
Each pod is a fully enclosed, plug-and-play unit fitting within an 8' x 10' footprint, featuring an ergonomic contour bed with heated and cooled seating, integrated vibrational massage, immersive visual display with access to a content library, and user-adjustable aromatherapy. Pods must provide pre-set automated programs for relaxation, mindfulness, meditation, and stress reduction (15 to 45 minutes each with full guidance), operate on standard 110V power and CAT-5 network connectivity, enable easy cleaning and disinfection between uses, and require minimal operational skills and ongoing maintenance. All contractor employees must successfully pass background checks to access the installation and restricted areas and will be escorted by a government representative during installation. Standard commercial warranties are required. Evaluation prioritizes price first, followed by technical capability and compliance with RFQ requirements, with non-price factors combined being approximately equal to price in importance. Contact: 1st Lt Andrew Flamm, andrew.flamm.1@spaceforce.mil; 2d Lt Maurice Epps, maurice.epps@spaceforce.mil.
