About this opportunity
The 56th Contracting Squadron seeks fifty Qorvo TGM2635-CP 100-Watt X-Band Amplifiers on a brand name or equal basis, with proposals due May 29, 2026, and questions due May 22, 2026. This is a 100% Total Small Business set-aside.
Place of performance is Luke Air Force Base, Arizona (DoDAAC: F2UT50). The amplifier operates across 7.9 GHz to 11 GHz with output power exceeding 100 watts at saturation, power-added efficiency greater than 35%, and large signal gain exceeding 22 dB. It requires 28V typical drain bias (40V maximum) and -2.6V typical gate voltage (-8V to 0V range). The device is packaged as a 4-screw bolt-down copperplate SMD component measuring 0.75 × 0.75 × 0.18 inches with 10 SMT leads, operates reliably from -40°C to +85°C, and requires forced air cooling with maximum power dissipation of 316 watts. Input impedance is 50 ohms with VSWR less than 3:1 and input/output return loss of 12 dB. Delivery is required within 60 calendar days from the lead time event. The NAICS code is 334413, Semiconductor and Related Device Manufacturing; PSC is 5961, Semiconductor Devices and Associated Hardware. Inspection and acceptance occur at both the contractor's facility and destination. The contract is firm-fixed-price and incorporates DFARS and FAR clauses by reference, including cybersecurity maturity model certification and covered defense telecommunications equipment prohibitions.
