About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Test Center is conducting a market research Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources for seven adjustable height power workstations to be delivered and installed at Edwards Air Force Base. The technical requirements specify a comprehensive workstation configuration including 72" wide single-position desks with power raise/lower capability, three articulating monitor arms, power strips, CPU shelves, and fabric privacy partitions. Interested offerors must provide a detailed information package limited to three pages, which includes company details, SAM Unique Entity ID, CAGE code, contact information, and a description of their experience providing similar services. The RFI requires full support of all requirements, with no partial responses accepted, and responses are due by 11:00am Pacific Standard Time on March 4, 2025. Potential vendors must identify their business size and socioeconomic classification according to Federal Acquisition Regulation standards.

The procurement falls under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334111 for Electronic Computer Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. No specific set-aside has been designated for this opportunity, and there is no mention of an incumbent contractor or specific award value. The technical requirements mandate that all Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products must comply with Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management guidelines and DoD evaluation requirements. Installation must be performed exclusively by US citizens, and the contractor will be responsible for complete debris removal after installation. The workstations will be placed in Tech Workspace 167, with specific electrical specifications including 12MC power connections and a 2" EMT conduit. This RFI represents a preliminary market research phase, and no contract will be awarded directly from this synopsis.
