About this opportunity

This RFI is issued pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10 for market research purposes only and will not result in a contract award. Vendors are encouraged to submit detailed responses addressing each section of the RFI and may direct inquiries to the designated points of contact via email with "OPEX Maintenance and Repair Services" in the subject line. The RFI was posted on March 3, 2026, with responses due by March 9, 2026, and responses to submitted questions will be made available to all vendors through SAM.GOV notices.

No incumbent contractor or award value is specified in this RFI, as it is designed purely for market research and information gathering rather than as a formal solicitation leading to contract award. The opportunity is categorized under NAICS 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and PSC code J074 (Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild of Office Machines and Equipment). The specific scope involves maintaining and repairing three mail slicing machines, though no detailed timeline, service level agreements, or budgetary parameters are provided in this pre-solicitation notice. Vendors interested in this market research opportunity should respond by the March 9, 2026 deadline to position themselves for potential future solicitations related to OPEX maintenance services.
