About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa has issued a Special Notice for a Request for Information (RFI) regarding the extension of the ordering period for the existing Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) and Spangdahlem Air Base areas. The MACC is a contract for a range of design-build, sustainment, maintenance, repair, alteration, renovation, and minor construction projects, including residential and commercial work.
The purpose of this RFI is to inform the current six MACC contract holders that the government intends to extend the ordering period for an additional six months, from January 15, 2025, to July 14, 2025. This extension will cover the gap between the expiration of the current MACC and the anticipated award of the follow-on MACC contract, which is estimated to occur on May 23, 2025. The original $425 million ceiling for the MACC will remain unchanged. Contractors are instructed not to submit formal proposals or offers, requests to be considered for award or notified of future solicitations, or any unrelated questions or comments. Responses to this RFI will not be accepted as offers, and the government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding.
