About this opportunity

The U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC), through the Department of the Treasury's Bureau of Fiscal Service, is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) for an executive conference room upgrade. The project encompasses comprehensive enhancements including carpet removal and installation, new furniture procurement, and audio-visual technology integration. The RFI seeks insights from experienced vendors in event planning and interior design services, focusing on creating a professional meeting environment with advanced technological capabilities. Vendors must submit detailed responses by December 19, 2024, at 12:00 PM EST, with preliminary questions accepted until December 9, 2024. Evaluation criteria include company overview, relevant experience, technical capabilities, pricing structure, and professional references, with a specific requirement for vendors to demonstrate their ability to meet the comprehensive room configuration and technology integration needs.

This pre-solicitation notice does not involve a specific set-aside designation and is not tied to an existing contract. The project has a proposed 30-day period of performance and will require complete installation services for furniture, carpeting, and A/V equipment, including a 360-degree camera system, integrated microphones, and speakers. While no specific budget range is disclosed, the project involves substantial renovations including conference table, ergonomic chairs, cabinets, whiteboards, lighting upgrades, ceiling tile replacement, and wall refreshment. Responses must be electronically submitted to onwankwo@eac.gov with a specific subject line, and vendors are advised that this RFI is purely for informational purposes and does not guarantee future contract opportunities. The government retains full discretion to modify or discontinue the RFI process at any time.
