The Government contemplates issuing a single-award, firm-fixed-price contract under NAICS code 335999 to support contingency and relief operations requiring nighttime lighting capabilities. The floodlight sets must be able to run on high-sulfur fuels like JP-8 and F-24, and meet specific performance requirements outlined in the draft specifications. Responses to the RFI are due by April 22, 2024, and will be used solely for market research purposes.
This acquisition is not set aside for any particular business size or socioeconomic category. The Government is considering using NAICS code 335999 and is seeking information that may support a potential small business set-aside. No incumbent contractors are named, and the Government has not provided any estimated award value or budget range. The intent of this RFI is to further define the Government's requirements and determine the level of industry interest and capability to satisfy the need.
