About this opportunity
The Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AO) is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) to assess potential vendors for virtual cyber range services designed to support cybersecurity training for approximately 2,000 IT professionals within the Federal Court community. The RFI seeks to identify qualified vendors capable of providing a cloud-based training environment that can conduct live, virtual training events with simulated court network environments and support concurrent training scenarios. Specific requirements include the ability to integrate multiple cybersecurity tools like Qualys, Nessus, Splunk, and support up to 25 simultaneous students with customizable training modules. Vendors are asked to provide detailed information about their capabilities, including company details, technical solution specifics, experience with federal government contracts, and potential implementation challenges. The deadline for submitting responses is February 26, 2025, at 12:00 PM Eastern, with responses to be sent via email to Vanessa Jackson.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this opportunity, and the intended NAICS code is 611420 (Computer Training) with a Product and Service Code of DF10 (IT and Telecom - IT Management As A Service). While no specific award value or budget range is mentioned, the RFI is explicitly designed for market research purposes and does not guarantee a contract award. The cyber range solution is expected to support comprehensive training across various cybersecurity domains, including cryptography, network security, offensive and defensive security, digital forensics, and incident response. The AO is seeking a solution that can provide pre-packaged content, support both on-premises and remote access, enable blue and red team engagement, and offer an intuitive interface for mission planning and scenario management. Vendors are encouraged to provide detailed information about their existing solutions, potential development capabilities, and experience in delivering similar services to federal government agencies.
