About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Hood is seeking to procure the purchase and delivery of the RFeye Spectrum Maintenance hardware and software license renewal and support for the West Desert Test Center (WDTC), Data Sciences Division at Dugway Proving Ground. The contract will cover the replacement of defective parts in the spectrum monitoring system, including associated labor costs, as well as provide software/firmware updates and onsite support and training. The government will evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions, with quotes due by September 20, 2024.
This procurement is not set aside and has no designated incumbent. The total value is to be determined, and the period of performance is from October 21, 2024, to October 20, 2025. The place of performance is Dugway, Utah. The procurement is justified under the FAR 8.405-6 exception for only one capable source, as WDTC requires the continued use of the proprietary RFeye system to maintain compatibility with the existing infrastructure and avoid $3 million in disruptions to critical missions.
