About this opportunity

This notice seeks responses for an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract to provide up to nine RF Arbitrary Waveform Generators over four years to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The generators must be capable of output speeds greater than 60 gigasamples per second with over 20 GHz bandwidth and 8-bit resolution, and include at least 10 gigasamples of memory and hardware-implemented FIR filters. Responses are due by March 1, 2024 and will be evaluated based on the vendors' ability to meet the attached specifications and provide the required generators, which must be rack-mountable and compatible with NIST's Josephson arbitrary waveform synthesis systems.

If at least two qualified small businesses are identified as capable of meeting the specifications, the requirement may be set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 334516 for analytical laboratory instrument manufacturing, which has a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Up to nine generators could be awarded over four years under an IDIQ contract with a total estimated value not to exceed the contract maximum. The notice seeks information from all responsible sources but specifies consideration of small business categories including small disadvantaged, women-owned, HUBZone, and veteran-owned small businesses.
