About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command is seeking to procure two mobile maintenance cranes through a small business set-aside solicitation at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The procurement will be a firm-fixed price contract for tracked mobile cranes with specific technical requirements, including the ability to lift 5000 lbs 10 feet into the air and featuring electric and diesel power capabilities. Evaluation will be conducted on a lowest price, technically acceptable basis, with technical acceptability determined by the crane's compliance with detailed salient characteristics. The solicitation (FA4877-25-Q-A194) requires vendors to submit quotes via email by March 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM Arizona Local Time, with submissions including company name, SAM UEI, lead time, projected delivery date, and quote expiration date. Primary points of contact are 2Lt Joshua Miao and SrA Erick Ramirez Millan, who will oversee the procurement process.
The solicitation is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 333923 with a size standard of 1,250 average employees. The cranes will be delivered to the 55th RGS with extensive accessories including a boom tip LED working lights, crane storage cover, steel shipping pallet, Black Ops light kit, and a cold weather Arctic kit. The government is requesting cranes with a 5-year extended warranty, including 12 months of parts and labor replacement, to be performed at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona (zip code 85707). While no specific award value is mentioned, the solicitation indicates the potential for multiple or no awards at the government's discretion. The cranes must meet comprehensive technical specifications, including 360-degree boom rotation, full-function radio remote control, emergency stop button, and JP-8 fuel compatibility.
