About this opportunity
The U.S. Army's Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) is issuing a Request for White Papers (RFWP) to award an Other Transaction Agreement for Prototype (pOTA) for the development and delivery of a Human-Machine Integrated Formations (H-MIF) Tethered Uncrewed Aerial System (TeUAS). The key objectives are to develop and deliver 18 prototype TeUAS systems that can provide elevated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, as well as extended communications, to support ground forces. Eligible offerors must be U.S. companies with the ability to process and store SECRET information and hardware. The government will evaluate submissions based on technical approach, qualifications, and cost. Proposals are due by April 22, 2024, and the anticipated period of performance is 27 months.
This procurement is not set-aside. The relevant NAICS code is likely 334511 (Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing) and the PSC is likely 1550 (Aircraft and Airframe Structural Components). The government has not provided an estimate for the total contract value. The RCCTO anticipates making one or more awards around Q3 FY24, subject to funding availability.
