About this opportunity
The National Park Service is soliciting proposals for up to 13 concession contracts to provide guided oversnow vehicle tours within Yellowstone National Park. This Amendment 2 to the original June 4, 2025 solicitation provides additional responses to questions received during the second question and answer session while maintaining all previously established deadlines. Interested parties must submit their notice of intent to propose by September 17, 2025, and electronic proposals are due October 1, 2025, with hardcopy transmittal letters due October 8, 2025. The prospectus is available on the NPS concessions website, and all questions must be submitted to Jennifer Parker at IMR_concessions@nps.gov in a format compatible with Microsoft Word. The anticipated contract effective date is July 1, 2026, and proposals must be submitted through the NPS Microsoft Teams platform after receiving a welcome email invitation.
This solicitation does not include any set-aside designations and will be awarded under the general competitive process. The contract opportunity involves up to 13 separate concession contracts, suggesting multiple operators may be selected to provide these specialized winter recreation services. The place of performance is listed as Mammoth, Wyoming, which serves as the northern headquarters location for Yellowstone National Park operations. The solicitation falls under NAICS code 713990 for All Other Amusement and Recreation Industries and PSC code M1FB for Operation of Recreational Buildings, reflecting the specialized nature of winter tourism operations in a national park setting. No current contractor names or specific award values are mentioned in the solicitation notice, though the multi-contract structure suggests the NPS is seeking to maintain or expand its winter tourism offerings through multiple service providers.
