About this opportunity
The Space Systems Command seeks information to assess potential strategies for procuring Transitional Receiver Exciters (T-REX) cabinets. The T-REX is intended as a form, fit and function replacement for aging equipment at four Upgraded Early Warning Radar sites and the System Integration Lab. Responses to the Request for Information are requested by February 11, 2024 to demonstrate experience producing complex, low-volume systems for government customers. Evaluation will include the contractor's production capacity to deliver up to 15 T-REX cabinets over two years to deploy two sites annually while meeting strict performance standards.
There is no set-aside designated for this potential procurement. Respondents should have relevant experience under NAICS codes 334220 or 541715, with an emphasis on capabilities in areas such as firmware and software integration, quality assurance testing, and long-term warranty support. Details provided should indicate a contractor's ability to produce T-REX systems through a technical data package and deploy units to Beale Air Force Base, Cape Cod Space Force Station, Clear Space Force Station, Royal Air Force Fylingdales, and Pituffik Space Base at a rate of two sites per year.
