About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Strategic Acquisition Center Frederick has issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking market research for a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) focused on Automation Delivery Model (ADM) capabilities in healthcare technology. The agency is targeting businesses with expertise in healthcare technology solutions, particularly those capable of supporting telehealth, clinical workflows, data integration, patient engagement, and healthcare IT infrastructure for the nationwide VA healthcare system. Key requirements include demonstrating experience with federal IT standards such as FITARA, ATO approval processes, HIPAA compliance, and the ability to support both firm-fixed-price and time-and-materials task orders. The RFI seeks detailed information about companies' qualifications, including entity details, core competencies, commercial capabilities, contracting preferences, government supply schedule status, and relevant past performance. Responses must be submitted by July 7, 2025, at 15:00 Eastern Time to Mr. LaShawn Knight via email, with submissions limited to a specified page count.
This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified businesses meeting the technical requirements. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the RFI documentation. The RFI does not specify award values, budget ranges, or contract quantities, as this is strictly a market research exercise designed to inform future acquisition decisions. The document emphasizes that respondents must demonstrate capability to manage concurrent projects and provide automation tools across various healthcare technological domains while supporting the consolidation of care modalities into a singular platform. This RFI does not constitute a solicitation commitment and serves solely for planning and market research purposes, with no guarantee of future contracting opportunities.
