About this opportunity

The Army Contracting Command - Detroit (ACC-DTA) is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) for a Wheel, Two-Piece Assembly with National Stock Number (NSN) 2350-01-592-2310. This market research notice aims to gather information from potential vendors about their capabilities and qualifications for manufacturing this specific automotive component. The government is seeking detailed information from interested firms, including company details, business size status, commercial availability of the item, manufacturing expertise, delivery capabilities, and first article testing experience. Respondents must provide their DUNS number, CAGE Code, point of contact information, and verifiable business size status through the System for Award Management (SAM). The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 26th at 3:00 PM EST, with responses to be sent directly to Justine Broughton at justine.r.broughton.civ@army.mil.

This pre-solicitation notice is not a formal solicitation and does not guarantee a contract award, serving purely as market research for potential future procurement. The opportunity is open to both small and large businesses, with no specific set-aside designation currently applied. The procurement falls under NAICS Code 336390 for Other Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturing, and the government is particularly interested in vendors with source control top drawing capabilities. While no specific award value or quantity is mentioned, the notice indicates a focus on identifying manufacturers capable of producing this specialized two-piece wheel assembly. The government will not reimburse respondents for preparation of their information, and the RFI is designed to help the Army Contracting Command develop a comprehensive understanding of the market and potential vendor capabilities for this specific component.
