About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation has published a Request for Information (RFI) seeking information from industry on developing a Performance Based Logistics (PBL) strategy to provide overhaul and remanufacture support for KC-46 landing gear and subcomponents. The RFI is issued by the 424th KC-46 Landing Gear Supply Chain Management Squadron, AFLCMC KC-46 Program Office, Enterprise Hill Commodity Council, and DLA.
The purpose of this RFI is to gather information that will support the Air Force's plan to engage a PBL provider under a fixed-price, outcome-based support contract to facilitate the overhaul and remanufacture of the identified KC-46 landing gear end items and subcomponents. The Air Force intends to use key performance indicators to measure and incentivize the awardee's performance in meeting critical warfighter support goals. Industry feedback is requested on topics such as capacity, turnaround times, logistics, subcomponent repair, condemnation rates, and performance metrics. Responses to the 28 detailed questions in the RFI are due by July 12, 2024.
