About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy) has issued Request for Information (RFI) SPE605-26-RFI-1001 to identify businesses capable of providing ground fuel products to support military operations and logistics throughout South Korea. The agency is seeking suppliers of three primary fuel types: Gasoline Mid Unleaded (MUM), Gasoline Regular Unleaded (MUR), and Korean Diesel Class 3 Regular (KDR), with delivery via tank truck, tank wagon, or tank truck with pump and meter. Qualified respondents must provide organizational details including DUNS number, CAGE code, ownership structure, technical capabilities, financial qualifications, storage capacity information, and fuel source facility locations. While this RFI is for information-gathering and planning purposes only and does not constitute a binding solicitation, interested vendors must submit responses by 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on November 6, 2025. DLA Energy emphasizes that responses will not be reimbursed, the agency is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt or provide feedback, and no evaluation criteria are specified at this pre-solicitation stage.
This RFI carries no set-aside designation and involves no identified incumbent contractors. The program anticipates procuring approximately 16 million gallons of fuel across 54+ line items over a 3-year period, with multiple awards expected to be made. Specific award values and budget ranges have not been disclosed in this pre-solicitation notice. The total fuel quantity and extended procurement timeline indicate a substantial commercial opportunity for qualified vendors with demonstrated capability to supply fuel products consistently across South Korea. Interested parties are advised to verify their SAM registration prior to submitting their response, as this registration will likely be a requirement for any subsequent formal solicitation.
