About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, National Urban Security Technology Laboratory (NUSTL), is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) to identify commercially available first responder technologies for the System Assessment and Validation for Emergency Responders (SAVER) program, with responses due by 4:00 PM EDT on June 30, 2026.
This RFI does not constitute a binding obligation or formal solicitation. The Government may or may not issue a subsequent solicitation based on responses received. NUSTL seeks market research information on five technology areas: Vehicle Ramming Barriers, Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) Systems, Radioisotope Identification Devices (RIIDs), Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), and Drone as First Responder (DFR) programs. The SAVER program assesses and validates commercially available equipment to assist federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial response agencies with equipment selection and procurement decisions. Relevant information will be shared nationally across these response organizations.
Respondents must submit through the online survey portal at https://nustl.gov1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8dMTAQxwzUpMZjU. Submissions must include company information, business type (manufacturer or distributor), specific technology areas addressed, product name and description, key features and capabilities, operational use cases, limitations, and cost information including purchase price, subscription pricing if applicable, and GSA schedule pricing. The Government will not pay for responses or demonstrations; all submission costs are the responsibility of interested parties. Technical inquiries should be directed to NUSTL@hq.dhs.gov. Amendment 0003 (most recent) updated the submission method to the survey portal only; email submissions are no longer accepted.
