About this opportunity
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces Directorate, is conducting a Request for Information and sources-sought market research to identify vendors capable of delivering a modular, platform-agnostic Unmanned Systems controller with responses due by October 28, 2026. This is pre-solicitation market research only and does not constitute a formal solicitation; the Air Force will not reimburse response preparation costs.
The required capability must support command and control of unmanned air, ground, surface, and subsurface systems through a common operator interface and open, extensible software architecture. Integration scope includes vehicle management, payload control, mission planning, mission execution, communications management, data dissemination, and operator decision support, with interoperability enabled across legacy and emerging systems.
Interested parties must request access through SAM.gov to view a Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) attachment containing additional requirement details and response instructions. Requestors must hold proper certifications to access the CUI attachment; requests from uncertified parties will be rejected. Respondents must adequately mark proprietary or competition-sensitive information as instructed in the attachment. The Air Force may use submitted information to develop its acquisition strategy, statement of work or statement of objectives, and performance specifications.
