About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps is conducting a Request for Information to identify electronically mature, commercially available Electronic Warfare systems for integration onto Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS) and Light-MADIS (L-MADIS) vehicles, with responses due by August 3, 2026. This is market research only and does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
The RFI seeks non-kinetic Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems defeat capabilities against Group 1–3 unmanned and manned aircraft threats under all weather conditions, day and night, in both stationary and on-the-move operations. The Marine Corps prefers fully developed systems at Technology Readiness Level 8/9 with no development required; Programs of Record are of particular interest. No incumbent contractor exists. The EW system must perform electronic attack operations (jamming and/or spoofing) against multiple UAS navigational modes, including RF/Command and Control, telemetry, GNSS navigation, and First Person View. RF/GNSS jamming and spoofing capability is referenced as a potential requirement but is not currently a hard requirement. The system may incorporate cognitive electronic warfare and machine learning capabilities and is not limited to RF-based solutions.
Responses must not exceed 30 pages total (10-page executive summary plus 20-page technical response) and must address design considerations including weight, power consumption, dimensions, cooling, antenna specifications, and integration adaptability; interoperability with Marine Corps and Joint Force command and control systems; simultaneous threat tracking and engagement capabilities; environmental and safety certifications per MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G; and logistics and sustainment including RAM data, maintenance requirements, spare parts availability, and lifecycle planning. Selected vendors may be invited at the Government's discretion to participate in live demonstrations in February 2027 at Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona. A Questions and Answers document was posted July 21, 2026.
