About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard, under the Department of Homeland Security, is seeking pest control services through this Request for Information (RFI) for its installations located in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. The contractor must provide comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services, including monthly pest control, development of an EPA-compliant IPM plan, and emergency response capabilities. Key requirements include employing trained personnel with current state pesticide application certificates, implementing targeted and environmentally sound pest management methods, and maintaining quality control procedures with continuous facility inspections. The RFI emphasizes the government's interest in market research to understand industry capabilities, availability, and potential approaches to pest management rather than formal evaluation criteria at this stage. Interested firms are encouraged to submit comments, questions, and suggestions regarding project scope and methodologies by the February 11, 2026 deadline, though this RFI is strictly informational and does not constitute a commitment to contract or reimburse preparation costs.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and does not identify any current contractors or incumbents in the notice. While a specific contract value has not been disclosed in this pre-solicitation phase, the scope encompasses 11 USCG service locations with combined office space ranging from approximately 47,832 to 177,262 square feet and industrial space between 4,700 and 31,804 square feet, along with 5 to 21.5 acres of land area maintenance across the three-state region. Services must be delivered during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 A.M. to 4 P.M.) with emergency response availability as needed. Pest types requiring management include rodents, ants, paper wasps, cockroaches, fleas, spiders, ticks, and other common facility pests. The contractor bears all costs for pesticide supplies, specialized equipment, transportation, and hazardous substance remediation, with all mixing and storage occurring off-site from the government facilities.
