About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical is conducting market research to identify sources of domestic Medical Case Carts and solicits information responses by October 2, 2026, with no guarantee that a formal solicitation will follow. DLA's primary objective is identifying case cart product lines that fully qualify as "Domestic End Product" under DFARS 225.003, meaning U.S.-made components and components mined, produced, or manufactured in the United States exceed 65 percent of total component costs.

Respondents must provide detailed component breakdowns with commercial part numbers, manufacturing location, and component sourcing information. Non-manufacturers must submit a letter of commitment from the manufacturer and identify the manufacturer by name; manufacturers may be required to maintain six months of stock for each awarded part number. Respondents must report NAICS code 339113 business size classification (large or small business), manufacturing capability to deliver products within 60 days of contract award, and preferred contract length. NAICS code is 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing); PSC is 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies).

DLA anticipates a contract with a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods if a solicitation is issued. Responses should be submitted to Evan.Lessin@dla.mil. This RFI does not constitute a binding solicitation or Government commitment.
