About this opportunity

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has issued a Special Notice seeking information from vendors on their capability to deliver a 4-day, 28-hour Congressional training course for NSF staff. The goal of this training is to help NSF employees gain a comprehensive understanding of how congressional actions affect the daily operations of NSF and other federal agencies.

The training must cover topics such as the legislative process, the role of Congress and its committees, the political dynamics between Congress and the current administration, and the impact of the election cycle. Facilitators and speakers must have significant expertise on these topics, and the training must be conducted within 0.5 miles of the U.S. Capitol to allow for observation of Congressional hearings and floor action. Interested vendors must submit a response by July 24, 2024 that includes information on their relevant experience, capability to deliver training near the Capitol, and any potential concerns or risks. This RFI is for planning purposes only and does not commit the government to issuing a contract or request for proposal.
