The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, and the Small Business Size Standard is $15.0M. Work consists of providing all personnel, supervision, and any items, equipment and services necessary to perform services to repair/replace children’s fitness equipment and to remove and dispose of the existing rubber fall zone and install new 3.5” thick fall zone for 8’ Child Fall Height at Whiteman AFB, MO. This will be a firm fixed price contract. This contract will have a performance period of up to 60 days. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 16 August 2016 on the FedBizOpps posting system at https://www.fbo.gov/. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the best value to the government at Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) which includes the following: - Technical proposal must contain a brief narrative as to the standards to which the playground equipment will be installed. - The playground equipment must be installed IAW U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Public Playground Safety Handbook, dated 2010. - Proposal shall include two references of concrete crushing or similar services within the last 5 years. The references shall include company name, point of contact and phone number. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Note: Although we are providing a link for the Interested Vendors List, the listing will not be used to notify vendors of any amendments to the solicitation. It is your responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for changes to the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to any contract. Registration can be accomplished at the following internet site: http://www.sam.gov. The following is correction to the technical evaluation criteria originally posted 27 Jul 2016: Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the best value to the government at Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) which includes the following:
- Technical proposal must contain a brief narrative as to the standards to which the playground equipment will be installed.
- The playground equipment must be installed IAW U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's Public Playground Safety Handbook, dated 2010.
- Proposal shall include two references of similar work occurring within the last 5 years. The references shall include company name, point of contact and phone number.
