The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to replace the damaged Lake Tewaukon rolling pier at the Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge in North Dakota. The contractor shall furnish all material, equipment, and labor to construct and install a grated rolling fishing pier. The contractor will be required to remove the existing rolling fishing pier shall and transport it approximately 100 feet away or far enough not to become damaged during construction. The new rolling fishing pier shall contain a metal walkway, handrail system, gangway connecting to the existing concrete pad, wheel system, floating system, and appurtenances. The details of the work can be found in the project specifications and drawings. The project site is located on Lake Tewaukon at the Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge. The address is: 9754 143 ½ Avenue SE, Cayuga, ND 58013. This procurement action is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-aside. The estimated performance period is 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. The Notice to Proceed date will be negotiated based on the site conditions. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36 Construction and Architect & Engineer Contracts and FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation package number (140F0619R0014) will include the Solicitation Forms (SF1442), Specifications, Drawings, Project Submittal List, and Wage Determination.
