Contracting Office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815, Norfolk, VA 23510


The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) is soliciting a requirement for the replacement of an Air Conditioning Condenser and the purchase of a spare condensor on the NOAA Ship Ferdinand Hassler, located in New Castle, NH. The vendor must provide all labor, material and equipment required, in accordance with the attachment.


This RFQ is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220, which has a corresponding size standard of $14 million.


Solicitation number EA133M-14-RQ-0109 will be issued January 10, 2014 and will close January 22, 2014.


The Period of Performance is Date of Award through March 28, 2014.


The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors specified in the solicitation.


All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or about January 17, 2014. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted). Potential offerors may direct all inquiries pertaining to the solicitation in writing to kolby.harold@noaa.gov . Telephonic requests will not be honored.
