About this opportunity

The United States Army Materiel Command's Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground is seeking repair services for Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) interrogator sets and secondary components manufactured by Raytheon Technologies. The market survey aims to identify manufacturers capable of repairing specific radar receiver-transmitters, GPS carrier cards, high-power assemblies, and other technical components used in defense systems. Interested manufacturers must submit documentation demonstrating their ability to repair these specialized electronic components by January 29, 2025, with submissions sent to eric.j.fulmer.civ@army.mil. Responses must include purchase orders or statements verifying repair capabilities for the listed IFF interrogator sets and components. The government emphasizes that no compensation will be provided for submission costs, and vendors will bear all expenses associated with responding to this market survey.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside status for this opportunity, and it is categorized under NAICS code 334511 for Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The solicitation covers repairs for multiple specific Raytheon part numbers, including various receiver-transmitters, GPS carrier cards, and associated electronic modules across different radar and navigation systems. While no specific award value or budget range is mentioned, the opportunity involves complex technical repair services for defense-grade electronic interrogator sets that must be returned to DoD AIMS certified configurations. The parts list includes approximately 20 distinct component types, suggesting a potentially comprehensive repair and maintenance contract for advanced defense electronic systems. The government's primary objective appears to be establishing a repair capability for these critical defense electronics components.
