Update #1 ·

Description(s) of Services Required:

The contractor shall provide the non-personal services of repairing a movable wall partition system at Bldg. 2060 (Nehelani), Schofield Barracks, Island of Oahu, Hawaii. Service contract will be to repair two (2) bottom seal rod mechanisms on two (2) divider wall panels and to perform preventative maintenance (lubricate track, clean track of foreign materials, check for misaligned track joints, inspect seals, adjust panels for plumb, etc) in order for the wall panels to operate properly and safely. The movable walls are in a banquet room used for customer receptions and dining. The panels operate on an overhead track and serve as partitions to increase or decrease the size of the room. The panels consist of metal, sheetrock, fabric covering, rubber and hard plastic. Panels reach approximately 30 feet in height with each panel weighing approximately 400 pounds. The mechanisms holding the panels in place on the track do not currently operate properly. Wall panels are difficult to pull from the stored position and hang with very little support with a potential for them to fall down.
