About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is procuring repair services for an Electronic Amplifier (NSN: 5996-01-384-9562; PN: URA0240L-400) through a one-year firm fixed price contract. The contractor will be responsible for comprehensive repair services including disassembly, analysis, troubleshooting, repair, testing, alignment, calibration, and returning serviceable end items to the government with the same form, fit, function, and testability as the original. Key requirements include ensuring all repaired items meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications and pass final acceptance tests validated by Special Test Equipment, with the contractor bearing all costs for replacement of components that fail to meet inspection requirements or present serviceability concerns. The contractor must also qualify and train technicians and maintain all necessary equipment for the repair process. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on November 12, 2025, with a response due date of November 22, 2025.
This is a sole source procurement with no set-aside designation, and the contract is intended to be awarded solely to CAES Mission Systems LLC (CAGE 24469). The solicitation includes four line items under the base contract: repair of eight units, one no-fault-found unit, one beyond-economical-repair unit, and data documentation. While specific contract values are not disclosed in the pre-solicitation notice, the work involves comprehensive repair services structured under a firm fixed price model. The formal solicitation period is scheduled to open on December 3, 2025, and close on January 18, 2026, providing an extended timeframe for proposal development and submission.
