About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center is procuring repair services for B-52 Stratofortress Multifunction Color Displays (MFCD). The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to Raytheon Company (Cage Code 96JA0) for these maintenance and repair services. The contract will be structured as a non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price Requirements IDV (Indefinite Delivery) contract with a basic year and four one-year renewal options. While the solicitation is designated as sole source, all responsible sources are permitted to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for agency consideration. The pre-solicitation notice was posted on April 20, 2026, with a deadline for submissions on May 5, 2026.

The contract carries no set-aside designation and represents a continuation of incumbent contractor services with Raytheon Company. The period of performance spans five years, from March 22, 2027, through March 21, 2032. The procurement encompasses five line items including repair services for 50 units of the specified NSN equipment (6610-01-632-3364), non-functioning feedback for one unit, operations and analysis support, surge capacity, and data management services. Each line item is structured with specific National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) to facilitate tracking and billing. The firm fixed price structure provides cost certainty for the government while the Requirements IDV format allows for flexible ordering quantities based on actual maintenance needs throughout the contract period.
