About this opportunity
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service Region 9 is seeking to renew the lease for warehouse and related industrial space in Sacramento, California that the government currently occupies. The space requirements include 9,600 square feet of warehouse space with 3 parking spaces. The lease will be for a 5-year renewal period. Offered space must meet government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards. A fully serviced lease is required, and the space cannot be located in a 100-year flood plain.
This is an open competition with no set-aside designation. The government will evaluate options to determine if relocating to alternative space would be economically advantageous, considering factors such as move costs, replication of tenant improvements, and agency downtime. Entities must also be aware of telecommunications prohibitions under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act. Proposals are due by August 9, 2024.

In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain.
Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
