About this opportunity
This pre-solicitation notice seeks offers for a fully serviced lease of office and related space located in Reno, Nevada. The General Services Administration Public Buildings Service Region 9 requires a minimum of 18,254 square feet of space with 76 parking spaces. The lease must include a 5-year renewal option with 4 years firm. Offered space must meet all government standards for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability. Entities should familiarize themselves with telecommunications prohibitions under Section 889 of the FY19 NDAA. The deadline for questions is December 10, 2023.
The solicitation does not designate any set-asides and is identified as number 2NV0167. Key details include the minimum square footage and parking spaces required. The incumbent contractor occupies the existing space under an expiring lease. Relocation costs and downtime will be considered in evaluating alternative offers. The location requirements and quantity of space and parking indicate the contract value will likely exceed the simplified acquisition threshold.

The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain.
