About this opportunity
The United States Air Force (USAF) has issued a Special Notice for an industry day event related to its Remote Radome Replacement Program. The USAF Atmospheric Early Warning System (AEWS) Program Office is hosting this 3-day site visit in Iqaluit, Canada from September 10-12, 2024.
The purpose of this industry day is to provide open dialogue between the government and industry representatives regarding the USAF's requirement to replace 28-foot and 55-foot radomes at remote radar sites across the United States and Canada. The government is seeking feedback, recommendations, and specific questions from vendors who have the capability to manufacture, remove, transport, construct, and install these radomes. Interested parties must respond by July 8, 2024 and are limited to one attendee per company due to site constraints. Attendees must possess a SECRET security clearance and the ability to travel to Canada. The event aims to ensure synergy between the DoD and industry, provide insight into the remote Arctic operating environment, incorporate industry feedback, communicate radome requirements, and gain understanding of recent industry developments.
