The 934th Airlift Wing, Minneapolis Minnesota intends to issue solicitation FA6633-24-Q-0002 to solicit proposals for a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Maintain Restroom, Building 755 at Minneapolis-St Paul ARB.

A solicitation package is anticipated to be available at www.sam.gov on or after 22 February 2024.  Paper copies will not be available.  The entire Request for Quote (RFQ) will be made available only on the website SAM.gov. Once the solicitation is posted, Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of this document and subsequent amendments. It is anticipated the following viewers are needed to open the solicitation and all attachments: Microsoft Word (.doc), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) and WinZip (.zip or .exe).

This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.203; this acquisition will be conducted as a Total Small Business set aside.

Magnitude of acquisition is between $25,000 and $100,000.

Work to be performed within 236220, “Commercial and Institutional Building Construction” and the size standard is $45 million.  The PSC/FSC Code is Z2JZ, “Repair or Alternation of Miscellaneous Buildings”.  The NAICS is to be used for market analysis only to determine the availability of potential small business categories for potential set-asides. Work to be included in this project consists of:

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

Contractor shall provide all professional services, permits, supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to fully meet all requirements of the Statement of Work, Construction Specifications, Construction Drawings and all other Contract Documents related to and/or titled: “Maintain Restrooms, B755” at the Minneapolis Air Reserve Station, Minneapolis Minnesota. The performed tasks shall be based on the project description, other data furnished in the Statement of Work (SOW), and information covered during the Pre-Construction (Pre-CON) meeting. The scope of this project contains Maintain Base Exchange Restrooms.

Request for Quote (RFQ) is contemplated IAW FAR part 13 with a 30-day response time after issuance of solicitation. 

The government intends to hold a site visit. The exact date and time will be identified in the solicitation.

Telephone requests for plans will not be honored.  Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist.  Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain all necessary updates/amendments from SAM.GOV  

All contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database – www.sam.gov and have completed the on-line Representations and Certifications to be eligible to receive award, and also be registered for the applicable NAICS Code 236220.  Interested contractors are encouraged to click the “Follow” icon at the top of the posting notice to receive updates concerning the solicitation. No Interested Vendor list will be made available to contractors.
