About this opportunity
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) has published an Industry Day Special Notice regarding Regional Military Protection (RMP) capabilities integration with M-Code compliant weapon systems. This informational event, posted on March 4, 2026, with an amendment posted on March 9, 2026, is being held by the Department of the Air Force to facilitate collaborative discussions with industry partners. The Industry Day is scheduled for March 17, 2026, at 0900 PT at the Aerospace Facility in El Segundo, California. The government explicitly disclaims that this is a request for proposal, promise to contract, or commitment of any kind, noting that any future RFP will take precedence over information presented at the event. This is a market research and partnership exploration initiative rather than a formal solicitation.
The primary objective of this Industry Day is to investigate innovative methods for delivering RMP capabilities to the warfighter and assess the feasibility of embedding this technology directly into GPS product lines with enhanced jam-resistant advantages. The Air Force is seeking industry input on nine specific technical and programmatic questions, including implementation timelines, cost estimates, required system updates, field reprogramming feasibility, and operational constraints with limited satellite availability. All vendors intending to participate must submit complete registration details (attendee names, email addresses, phone numbers, and company information) no later than 5:00 PM EST on March 8, 2026, to 2d Lt Brookelyn Anderson, and must complete a Visitor's Access Request by 5:00 PM EST on March 10, 2026. Attendance is limited to five representatives per vendor, encompassing both prime contractors and any associated subcontractors, with no walk-in attendance permitted. Any interested industry partners, including prime contractors and subcontractors working on GPS and military protection technologies, are eligible to participate.
