The vendor must provide screws with the signs. A brief description of the screws required is below:
Road maps: tamper resistant stainless wood screws (round head) with nylon washers. 1/4" thick and 1-3/4" length. Predrilled holes for road maps will be 3/8" diameter.
Messages: tamper resistant stainless wood screws (round head) with nylon washers. 1/8" thick and 1-1/2" length. Predrilled holes for messages will be 1/4" diameter.

THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT
RECOVERY- RECREATION WAYFINDING MESSAGE DEVELOPMENT AND FABRICATION
The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement to have the contractor furnish all labor, equipment, transportation and supplies to perform recreational wayfinding message development and fabrication on the GIFFORD PINCHOT NATIONAL FOREST, WASHINGTON, SKAMANIA COUNTY. The work consists of fabricating 84 road maps, 466 management and resource messages and 12 trail messages. Installation services are an OPTIONAL bid item and the government may exercise this option within 30 days.
**THIS IS A COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS--PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED**
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This acquisition is a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339950. The size standard is 500 employees.
**NOTES**

--A Sample of Work will be required.
--Response due date is Tuesday February 23, 2010 at 5:00P.M. Pacific Time.
The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Contractor whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
The following evaluation factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: Past Performance and Price. All non-price evaluation factors, when combined are approximately equal in important to price. Award will be made on a best value basis.
Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from www.fbo.gov.
